Audience Member If I could give the movie minus 5 stars I would. SPOILER ALERT: for more than 30 minutes you will watch crew members trapped in stasis pods, slowly being picked off by an off camera creature. Peter Jackson could make same length movie opening of someone yawning and it would be more dramatically riveting than this. Should you dare to abuse your psyche beyond this point then by all means watch the rest. By movie's end you will be filled with despair, shame and regret that you gave 5 minutes, let alone the complete run time, of your life essence to this soul sucking direct to video release. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/14/23 Full Review Audience Member best movie of all frickin' time yo! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Audience Member Ultra low budget sci-fi thriller, made in 2002 under the title "Terrarium", obviously retitled War of the Planets in the hope people will confuse it at the video stores for "War of the Worlds". Even though it is very cheaply made, and the acting is ranges from poor to wooden to decent, it was mildly interesting and I give some credit for making a halfway decent movie on an extremely low budget. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member This is the worst movie I have yet to see. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Audience Member Was this movie made by some idiot film students? The cover of the DVD is total bullshit. This is no cool explosion or the neat looking aliens that the cover suggests. It looked like a few stoned idiots went to Wal-Mart, bought some plastic sheets, trash bags, lightbulbs, a bigfoot costume and some toy guns. Half of the movie the people are waiting for their cryogenic sleep to wear off and fuckin bigfoot keeps walking in the ship and killing some of them. I just read on IMDb.com that it was shot in the director's backyard. They couldnt have rented a storage place? The effects looked as if they were done on a computer in 2 minutes. and about the plot, NASA wouldnt have hired some braindead people to start a colony on another planet. Hell, I know more science than those people and I'm about to graduate high school. The aliens look like giant egg heads. and dont even get me started on the piss poor acting. This is a piece of trash that doesn't even deserve to be called a "B movie" more like F movie. I can't believe I spent 3.50 renting this absolute piece of shit! Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member I love this movie... A great b-movie. The story is good, acting slow and you sometimes get the impression they are reading the lines rather than acting them, the special effects are not bad, the CG is very very obvious, but this is what makes this movie. The alien monster is little more than a man in a gorilla costume which is oddly refreshing. This is a B-movie, if you are not a fan of this genre this is not a movie for you. But for those of us who can see the art of a well done b-movie, this is a good one. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Read all reviews
