A very heartfelt performance by John Hurt, enjoyed it more on the second viewing. Adapted from a stage play so fairly static but deserves recognition as insightful attempt to address a feeling of mortality by one of Englands greatest actors in that exact position himself. Good supporting cast especially Charles Dance, lots of hidden meaning and irony.
