The film is not without charm, though, with praiseworthy performances from the leading man, Julie Shipley as the object of his affections, and more seasoned players John Junkin and Stephanie Cole in supporting roles. Go to Full Review

Rocky F @Nickyman100 4d The best things about this movie are the lack of unnecessary music or special effects, making it appear either amateur-produced or continental. The cinematography is mostly competent, although the sound quality varies. As an ex-resident of Torquay, for me the highlights were the locations, as almost everything seemed to have been filmed in the town. Location-spotting was able to distract me from the script, for which the expression "banal" would be an understatement. After a while, I had the sound mostly on "mute". The actors did their best with all this nonsense, but even they seemed to give up during the luurve scenes, as did I. The cliches were coming too fast, so I called it a day once Ray Winstone looked like he was about to do the business with the female lead. By then, it was obvious where the rest of the film was going, and the boredom meter went off the scale. A film for those who like moving wallpaper; no subtitles needed.
