Audience Member exciting extreme skiing in chamonix.... next year...! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Audience Member This documentary is a competent introduction to extreme mountaineeer skiing via a son training for the run that killed his father. Kye is 15 years old and surrounded by his father's mentor and collegues in *gorgeous* Chamonix on the lethal Glacier Rond. There's a fake-out framing device which is wholly unnecessary except to underscore for the upteenth time that this is all extremely dangerous. Still, it makes for a suspense-builder more effective than the overt rites-of-passage theme of skier spirituality. Great photography and odd daredevil philosophers make for an engaging film, somewhat deflated by the "where are they now" epilogue. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Audience Member Great flick - if you're a skier Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Great ski story and movie!
