Audience Member Filming is wonderful. A slow paced experience of new love, new life in a new country, nostalgia for the mother land - I didn't understand the ending though. Did Darya return to Russia? Eddie and his ex-wife begin to get back together? Ending was a bit abrupt, unfortunately. Otherwise a beautiful film. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review Audience Member Started out kind of slow but in the end I liked it a lot. Very gentle portrait of folks trying to figure out what's really important to them. Sarah Harmer was great, I thought. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Not a fast moving picture, but the blossoming of a friendship without a common language rang true for me. Then too, Sarah Harmer was spot on as the gaunt, intense arty type who takes herself and everything else much too seriously. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review Audience Member Good. Really neat Toronto footage. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member (Russian-dubbed) About an immigrant's struggles in a new country. Finds a guy; has to make a choice...
