Robert E. W There is no plot. An implausible situation arises when an electric chair (always run on an independent power source; the loss of power in mid-execution can't happen) somehow fails to deliver a lethal jolt. The condemned sits there, screaming. The warden (I assume) is sent for. The executioner tries to break the condemned man's neck and fails to put him out of his misery.
