Audience Member A supernatural, action-adventure of the likes that could only come from Hong Kong. Well, and China, I guess, because this is a Mainland/HK cross-production. It has more in common with early Chinese fantasy films and Tsui Hark's Zu: Warriors of the Magic Mountain than it does with other '90s wuxia pians. It has some problems in the acting and action department, but it makes up for these faults with oodles of character and inventive situations.
