Audience Member Simple characters, nothing jumps out at you to make you like them so you will have to pay attention in order to follow this one. Simple plot, high school kids last summer before they all go their separate ways at different colleges. It does a good job at portraying the actual party scene unlike movies like american pie how they seem to artificial or movie like. Its far from a let down though and i would give it a look if your into teen party movies. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Audience Member On the surface, "The Graduates" looks like all those other coming-of-age high school flicks, complete with virginal dudes and binge drinking in a resort town. However, the writer/director here shoots for something more, and frustratingly comes up a little short. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie started out slow and I didn't like the characters at first. It just felt like one of those kids-getting-drunk comedies with the comedy drained. But as the movie went on, I really really liked it. I love all of the characters and their interactions. They are more complex than they first appear to be, and they are enjoyable even when they aren't likable. I don't personally identify with any of them really, but the movie still felt very real. It's not laugh out loud funny, but I'd call it a comedy still. Maybe a comedy drama. PS, it's posted on Hulu. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie was a comedy? Hardly. I was bored out of my skull watching this. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member Unknown actors, who in some cases are more realistic than in the American Pie movies, but they are not interesting, they are not likeable, they talk on and on about meaningless stuff. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member There is probably a reason that nobody has herd of this movies...not very good...it has a premise that sounds like it could be good but the movie leaves u disapointed and without laughing!
