Audience Member The Love Butcher is a wild seventies horror movie by director Don Jones. This film needs to be released to dvd. Rated 3.5/5 Stars •  Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/29/23 Full Review Audience Member A crazed, so-bad-it's-good, trash rip-off of PSYCHO. The acting reaches new levels of insanity and the script is so overblown as to be a laugh riot. The scenes involving crippled gardener Caleb are my favourite, but Caleb's transformation into slick killer Lester are actually pretty effective. The stalk 'n' slash sequences are fairly disturbing in a nihilistic way. To read more about unknown films like this, try Stephen Thrower's momentous book, NIGHTMARE USA.
