Audience Member A very well shot & tightly executed crime melodrama staring the British Matinee Idol Ivor Novello who was the serial killer in Alfred Hitchcock's 3rd Silent Film...The Lodger 1927 This film is definitely on the melodramatic side, but has some innovative camera techniques & portrays the less glamourous side of London in the mid 20's. It story slowly draws you in & really shows how talented Norvello truly was...this silent is somewhat forgotten but is quite impressive & well worth a watch for film enthusiasts.
