      steve d Sometimes frustrating but worth it for the cast. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review martin b Cornell Wilde is a horrible actor but this movie all in all a good watch. Star crossed lovers an old theme but had it moments. Seeing Kirk Douglas play a well intentioned buy easily manipulate husband of the villain in the movie was interesting. Ending especially sappy buy the very unpredictable. If you like hockie love stories this will fill the bill nicely. I like it. Enjoyable but Anne is a bit too earnest in the lead and the film suffers from the fact that the most interesting couple, and the best acting comes from, the secondary couple played by Linda Darnell and Kirk Douglas.
