Rich Cline Shadows on the Wall While is feels very amateurish, the characters have charm... Rated: 2/5 Jun 11, 2020 Full Review Norman Gidney Film Threat Sad to say that there are few melodic moments and a lot of elements that don't work at all. Rated: 4/10 Jun 3, 2020 Full Review Kerr Lordygan TV Fanatic As it stands, the underexplained semi sci-fi element is bizarrely juxtaposed with the under-developed love story and an under-executed sub-plot that appears to have been slapped in to add dramatic value. Jack T Whoe doesn't love a good ballet-based romance? But, alas, this is genuinely terrible. Written, directed, and starring Frederick Keeve, who doesn't seem to have anyone who told him he couldn't be everything in this vanity project. Keeve plays Jason, whose backstory is painfully evident within the first few minutes of the film, which is thickly overlaid with New Age faux-sensitivity. Jason, having been in a tragic car accident, is now accompanist to a wonderfully demanding ballet class. But his young student, who appears to have a genuine talent, falls hopelessly and unimaginably in love with the morose, uninteresting pianist. Of course, the gorgeous young talent has an abusive boyfriend - who also has lung cancer? I kid you not. It goes from unlikely to impossible to far-fetched to ridiculous from scene to scene.
