Graham Greene The Spectator The explanation of the murder depends on another death outside the story and a coroner's report, and Mr. Dickinson's skill is never more evident than in his grim sad dramatisation of the dull typewritten pages. Oct 3, 2018 Full Review MFB Critics Monthly Film Bulletin The plot is complicated, and not always easy to follow, but this is readily overlooked in the excitement of really well-staged football sequences, and the presence on the screen of a famous team and its Manager and Trainer. Jan 24, 2018 Full Review John J. Puccio Movie Metropolis The movie has more than a few good qualities, most notably the presence of Leslie Banks as the wonderfully droll police inspector. He pretty much makes the show. Rated: 6/10 Aug 10, 2012 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member A great performance from Banks and a good premise but the rest of the cast and the disappointing ending ruin this film. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member A murder is committed at Highbury, part of an implausible story populated by implausible characters. The film was, however, completely charming and tremendously good fun. A little slice of pre-war Englishness. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Audience Member This was a shocker for me. I thought it was gonna be really boring. Its actually one of the best films I have ever seen. a very well thought out mystery story with comedic elements and one or two references to the second world war. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Audience Member wow umn just seen this movie 4 the 1st time n think that this is a good movie 2 watch........its got a good cast of actors/actressess throughout this movie.....i think that anthony bushell, greta gynt, ian mclean, leslie banks, liane linden play good roles/parts throughout this movie......i think that leslie banks is good as the scotland yard inspector.......i think that the director of this thriller/classics/who done it movie had done a good job of directing this movie because you never know what 2 expect throughout this movie......i think that this is a good who done it mystery/thriller movie....i think that this is an enjoyable movie 2 watch Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member I was looking forward to this, but I found it quite disappointing. It's probably my fault for not paying enough attention, but I couldn't keep track of the plot. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Audience Member An interesting little curio but ultimately The Arsenal Stadium Mystery is more "who cares" than "whodunnit"...
