...this cardboard-cutout quality extends to the dialogue scenes between the adult actors, where Lowe's inexperience as a director really shows.

Call it The Bad Seed and you tap into a surface-glaze legitimacy that's probably unwarranted, because the movie, notable as co-star Rob Lowe's directing debut, achieves only a baseline amount of trashy fun, nothing more or less.

This movie wasn't a horror movie, but more like a American psycho type movie. I recommend this movie to people that love some thrill, and some family drama. Very good movie. =)
