Late R Neither particularly good, nor particularly bad, 'The Beach of the Drowned' is a simple, exceedingly average murder mystery. There's nothing inspired about anything here and that means there's nothing that jumps out at you or is of particular interest; instead, you get a very standard mystery with very standard characters.
