Gary Goldstein Los Angeles Times Although deliberately paced and a bit repetitive, the movie contains many lovely subtleties and two superb, swoony lead turns that keep us invested. Sep 5, 2019 Full Review Gary M. Kramer Gay City News Poignant, erotic, and quietly powerful.... Marco Berger masterfully captures the heightened sexual tension between two men in a film that is both exquisite and excruciating. Sep 1, 2021 Full Review Ben Turner The Pink Lens There are times when the film suffers a little from Inactivity Syndrome, but there is so much tension (both sexual and dramatic) between the pair that you can forgive it sometimes dragging its feet. Rated: 4/5 Sep 1, 2021 Full Review CJ Sheu The News Lens International The script doesn't break much narrative ground, but the two leads have such screen presence that we find ourselves engrossed. Jun 27, 2020 Full Review Andrew Emerson Film Threat This may not be a film that advertises itself as important, in short, but its sensitivity and perceptiveness will leave a lasting impression. Sep 23, 2019 Full Review Brandon Judell Huffington Post Differentiating this tale of 2 guys searching for completeness within each other-besides its several unexpected twists and its Argentinian take on homophobia-is the stellar acting by Re, and Barón, plus the finesse of the production. PridePosterStudios The (Dogsh*t) Blonde One Rated 1 out of 5 stars 06/20/24 Full Review Danny C Poignant, slow simmering the sexual tension is palpable. I personally loved it and watched it twice. The acting is great. Beware it is a slow burn but ultimately so rewarding. I felt the erotic sensuality throughout the film, one of the better gay themed films. Both actors are amazing! Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 08/27/23 Full Review Salvo C It is a great movie. Marco Berger is a fine cinematographer and deserve to become more visible out of the circuit of gay cinema where it seems to be put. I really hope his full cinematography will become known to a wider audience. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/12/23 Full Review Paul N Sweet, delicate, anchored in everyday life, in settings far from glamorous, lies a love story between two men or shall I say between a man and a twat. The blond one is sweet and innocent, simple and with a big, loving heart. He takes what love brings without the drama, without argument, constantly full of hope, putting love above disappointments. Another story needed to be told to show that being gay is not simple and full of compromises, even now. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/05/23 Full Review Marcelo Adrian B I've seen several Marco Berger movies and I think this is one of his bests. I didn't quite like others from the same director as they tend to have no actions at all and relay on characters talking endlessly about nothing. In this film the silences and the tempo adds to the way the relation between the characters evolve. A soulfull movie. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 04/10/23 Full Review Nacho M Erotica, emocional y bien actuada, Marco Berger dando catedra Rated 4 out of 5 stars 11/15/22 Full Review Read all reviews
