Bill B Sep 17 Sad, grim and beautiful at the same time. See more Carey K Jul 15 One of the most amazing visual and narrative events I have seen on screen (via Netflix). The story is tragic, as expected given the topic of WWII, but the filming, score and acting are far beyond the hollywood and US movies we find online. The US has amazing talent as well, but we can't make the types of films that the European's make on a regular basis. Blame this on the pollution of the industry and the general dumbing down of our population's tastes. Remember McDonalds is our favorite place to eat.... Check this one out. It is well worth it. See more Mar•Garet W @MelFanClub Jul 11 🤔⚖ Seeing more & more films like 'BOMBARDMENT' being released: When are we to expect a Film like this about the Bombing of Dresden (or Hamburg, or any of the other German Cities filled w/ mostly Civilians which "Bomber Harris" targeted w/o mercy in repeated day's-long Campaigns, ending 100's of thousands of lives & displacing Millions (?) Is that not a Story worth telling? (* the Answer, according to Hollywood, is a resounding NO, as the last / only film on the subject was made in Germany in the 70's....I guess THOSE School Children's Stories aren't important, I guess they shouldn't have been Born on the Wrong Side. ) See more Apr 16 Absolutely fantastic, heart breaking, intense all wrapped in one, amazing directing and even at the ending, moments stay in you're mind.
