Joe Lipsett Bloody Disgusting The plot is slightly convoluted in The Book Club Murders as Logan Giese cuts back and forth between the adult and teen storylines, but the killer reveal (and accompanying over the top performance) makes for a great ending. Elena G Wow what a waist of time! I didn’t except seeing a movie this bad on Netflix! Script is short of any meaningful or dramatic conversation, casting is amateur, feels like the movie was made for a school project lol. It’s painful to watch, don’t waist your time. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 10/13/25 Full Review Lily V It is just such a bad film. The plot, the acting and the ending, unbelievably low quality on all accounts. The performance of the end is almost comical Rated 1 out of 5 stars 10/09/25 Full Review Josh B This was honestly one of the top 5 worst movies I have ever seen. The casting, writing, plot, and everything about it was just horrendous. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 10/08/25 Full Review Jennifer C I loved that it's something fresh and original, not a rehashed storyline. The writing could use alot more development with characters and what exactly was going on at the beginning. The movie would have been better if there was an opening scene of the fire and how the girl disappeared leaving us in suspense. The actors are great I did enjoy it and hope a part 2 is made. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 10/04/25 Full Review Mark J Jaw-dropping terrible! The acting was not befitting a high school production. The script was predictable and lacked any credibility. At first I expected the movie was going to be a spoof but it became apparent the production was truly attempting a serious mystery/thriller. Even the camera work attempt to accentuate the thriller mood with the view into the mirror and the images of the back of the murderer were lame. The production, costumes and even the makeup was distracting, especially the detective’s hair. I would’ve given it zero stars if I could’ve. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 10/04/25 Full Review Douglas K Hallmark level of sappiness, combined with overly dramatic music, mediocre acting, and a weak plot…other than that it was okay.
