Audience Member The final entry into the Brave Archer trilogy probably has the least amount of action of the three films and suffers for it. This series is one that is harder to appreciate across cultures due to my lack of knowledge around Chinese legends and history. The story in each of these films seemed convoluted and hard to follow, but on the plus side it is a lavish Shaw Brother Studio production, which makes is a visually impressive film to watch. The film, like the previous entries, was directed by Cheh Chang, so when action does finally break out, the fight scenes are terrific. Not a classic, but worth watching.
