The Bricklayer follows a rogue insurgent blackmailing the CIA by assassinating foreign journalists and making it appear the agency is responsible. As other nations begin turning against the U.S., the CIA must lure Steve Vail (Aaron Eckhart) -- their most brilliant and rebellious operative -- out of retirement. With an elite and deadly skill set, Vail is tasked with helping clear the agency's name, forcing him to confront his checkered past while unraveling an international conspiracy.

Storyline is as predictable as it is bad, movie has no grip, photography is unimpressive and actors are badly directed. The movie moves along slowly interweaved by boring punching fights and a few lousy car chases. No spark, no ideas, no talent. The only passable thing is miles davis music, but even that is intercepted rather than played.

All the other problems with the film are real, but at least I can clearly and easily follow what happens in hand to hand fights. They do a long shot and you can see everything clearly. Which is a lot better than many films. - - It's a bit of a b movie and it's not funny enough to make up the difference, but honestly the action is pretty good.

Looks like it was shot on an iPhone 5 and script by a 12 year old. The incar scenes are trash, no motion for car or actors and crappy green screen behind. Movie is garbage.

Synopsis
