The Bricklayer follows a rogue insurgent blackmailing the CIA by assassinating foreign journalists and making it appear the agency is responsible. As other nations begin turning against the U.S., the CIA must lure Steve Vail (Aaron Eckhart) -- their most brilliant and rebellious operative -- out of retirement. So badly planned. So I swear, there's a secret file someone is reading and it's labeled "privledged information." How does something that obvious slip by the production team? So many second-rate actors. So little plot. So many terse gravelly-voiced monosyllabic utterances. And when he gets paired up with a by-the-books female partner, you know the bricks aren't the only thing that's going to get laid.

Predictable and amateurish low budget movie. We watched on a Friday night to the end but it has a stupid plot line, poor acting and the main character casting wasn't believable. He was way too old! I kept noticing the numerous continuity errors so lazy editing too. I wouldn't recommend this film, whatever you do select something else.
