Many years ago, Andrei Simoniovich Filipov (Alekseï Guskov) was fired as conductor of the Bolshoi Orchestra for hiring Jewish musicians. Now a janitor, he learns that members of the orchestra have been invited to perform in Paris. Andrei gathers his former players and plans to substitute them for the current ones, and he hopes that a beautiful virtuoso (Dmitriy Nazarov) will accompany them.

Mrs J Apr 27 It was a nice movie. The acting was probably the best part, since the story was a bit "unrealistic". As someone who plays an instrument, it is not possible to prepare a concert, such as Tchaikovsky's Concert for Violin and Orchestra, minutes before. But the rest quite did justice for this "plot mistake". A sweet movie to watch, learn and laugh! Sit back and enjoy.
