Jelisije J This is a movie where they took a simple plot and they just had to ruin everything with its terrible third act. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 06/29/23 Full Review Audience Member Not a bad way to pass the time. Jeffrey Dean Morgan is actually pretty good as the grizzled old Courier enlisted to find a notorious hit man. The dialogue is weak. The action is ok. The supporting cast is pretty good, especially Mickey Rourke. Josie Ho is very good as Anna. While it is not believable that Til Schweiger is an FBI agent it is fun to pretend he is. He is still fun to watch. LiLi Taylor and Miguel Ferrer are grisly but good. The 3rd act is crazy but fun. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review steve d JDM deserves so much better than this by the numbers film, with forgettable story. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member This Would probably have been tolerable were it not for Josie Ho's cringe-inducing acting. They called the DeHavilland Mosquito the Wooden Wonder only because they had never seen this girl's performance. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member Confusing and convoluted. I didn't enjoy it at all. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Jeffrey Dean Morgan is a specialist in delivering packages without questions in Hany Abu- Assad's, The Courier. The best in this niche industry, Morgan is forced to take on a job to protect those close to him by delivering a package to someone who is supposedly dead. A dark mystery unravels as he gets closer to discovering the truth about his target and himself. With notable performances on the small screen in Supernatural and Grey's Anatomy as well as a significant contribution in Zack Snyder's, Watchmen, one shouldn't be surprised with Morgan headlining a suspense thriller. Thing is, you wish he had opted out of this feature. Even with recognisable faces, The Courier has that low-budget feel about it and the story never really hooks you. It's a respectable attempt but the plot really doesn't blow your mind away and may instead give you a headache. After a while it begins to get tedious and you decide to follow it to the end only to write a review! Assad's attempt isn't amateurish but it certainly isn't award winning. Morgan gives a solid performance with what he's got but it's nowhere near enough. The story is, well, blah and this is one to miss. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Read all reviews
