Audience Member Not as enlightening as it may be being a coming-of-age story in an odd sense. There isn't as much depth to it nor are there really any characters that we attach or understand outside of a very simple setup. The conclusion, however, is astounding and humourously dark. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/08/23 Full Review Audience Member Really funny short film about an 8 year old student who challenges his hot teachers boyfriend to a duel.. to the death! This got big laughs out of me. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member http://filmreviewsnsuch.blogspot.com/ Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member Liked this one till the end scene, where it got super tense and serious....but it was well made and entertaining. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review Audience Member Weakest out of the Oscar shorts I've seen. I did not enjoy the acting styles of the three leads. The boy must be related to the director. I did not find his halting speech precocious, or neurotic, or deep, or cute, or whatever it was supposed to be. That's harsh I know. The boy is becoming unnaturally obsessed and it could be a tragic look at a lack of gun control, but then the film tries to make light of the premise by reversing what the audience may be anticipating.
