i cant understand this movie had only a 26% score. i liked this one a lot. i think they could not have done it better. the language gap made it feel realistic and the bad guy was very good i think.

Enjoyable if unoriginal. The Depraved as a group of urban explorers doing a trek through the underground tunnels below Berlin looking for old Nazi artifacts. A party member gets injured and the remainder splits up to get help. One group finds an old man who lives in the underground and offers them food and help. But where would this movie be if it ended like that? It turns out the old man is not who he seems and all hell breaks loose. Very well acted, and lots of fun. The idea of Nazi graffiti and artifacts being in the underground below Berlin was interesting, as was exploring the tunnels. The antagonist was great. He really was a frightening person. All in all, a decent movie.

Though there is clear evidence of some filmmakers who know what they're doing behind the camera, Urban Explorer is content to stomp through numerous well-traveled tunnels.

I wanted to like this movie. It's well made and suspenseful, but it is so needlessly dark and vile. The protagonists also drove me crazy with their actions. Also known as a The Depraved.

If Fetscher pushed his best themes further it would've complimented the movie. Instead we're left with a by-the-numbers plot, garnished with juicy themes around the edges.

while Urban Explorer may be filled with the sort of troglodytic torture, monstrous madness and bloody death familiar from many other genre films, at heart it is a 'foundation' myth for the city in, around and under which it was shot.
