CHARLES T Absolutely sinnester, diabolical horror. evil and hard to watch at times but you can't look away. On the edge of your seat. There is light at the end of the tunnel. an underlying message is here for all to heed. Buckle up. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 12/04/23 Full Review Johnny D I liked the musical aspect of it, and the casting seemed really spot-on. Embry, Glasco, and Appleby were also good fits for their roles. And of course Pruitt Taylor Vince delivers a fantastic performance. But IMO the story was really lame. If it wasn't for Vince I'd probably have judged this movie more harshly. As it is, I can't really recommend it. But it's not terrible either. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 10/10/23 Full Review Helsa C I saw it just cuz Ethan Embry was in it... To begin with, but it was a good movie with or without him. A little bit hokey but most horror films are. And a good amount of gratuitous Gore. Pruitt Taylor Vince did a great job as a creep. I got to admit Ethan's hairline kind of bothered me a little bit. It was low for normal person. His was too low. Also why is the sound all f***** up. It seems like when they were having just conversation the sound was muffled and then when they would start playing music all sudden it's so loud I'd have to turn it down. Can you guys just fix the sound? Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/24/23 Full Review Ricky R Very dark, great character development for the short run time, and well paced. The "metal" through line present from the opening scene to the final act and is a great companion for the story if that's your thing. Add this to the gem list. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 06/29/23 Full Review Audience Member Rating: 6/10. 67/100 Rated 3 out of 5 stars 05/06/23 Full Review Trey W Between this movie and The Loved Ones, Sean Byrne is on fire. Really good movie, dark, gory, suspenseful. All the core elements of an excellent horror movie. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 04/28/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Chris Stuckmann ChrisStuckmann.com [Pruitt Taylor Vince] knocks it out of the park in this movie. Just about every time he walked on frame he just gave me chills. He's such an unsettling presence in this film. Rated: A- Feb 2, 2018 Full Review Marc Savlov Austin Chronicle The Devil's Candy isn't particularly bloody in and of itself. It suggests acts of terrible evil far more than it shows, and is all the more intense for it. Highly recommended. Rated: 3.5/5 Apr 20, 2017 Full Review Joshua Rothkopf Time Out Sean Byrne's assured second feature is so in on the satanic joke, it sometimes feels like a comedy. In its final turn, it brings the pain; it's definitely a horror movie but a wonderfully witty one, not for gentle souls. Rated: 4/5 Apr 3, 2017 Full Review Patrick Cavanaugh The Wolfman Cometh If haunted house movies are your things or you enjoy horror films where the perfect family can be dismantled by demonic forces, The Devil’s Candy will definitely be for you. Rated: 3/5 May 12, 2023 Full Review Jason Adams My New Plaid Pants Fundamentally disturbed Jan 10, 2022 Full Review Emma Wolfe SpookyAstronauts It really grabbed me and pulled me in... this has to be the most disturbing, amazing film I've watched this year.
