Bill Arceneaux Moviegoing with Bill This is a movie of such devilish and devious delights, more of a satire for the duration than a straight horror, making for a viewing that's fun and ghastly. Rated: 3.5/5 Apr 5, 2021 Full Review Alix Turner Ready Steady Cut A black comedy horror about a couple hoping for patronage from the wealthy elite, written and directed by Miles Doleac. Rated: 2.5/5 Feb 27, 2021 Full Review Harris Dang Their Own League The Dinner Party is an effectively creepy horror flick with game performances and a gleefully dark sense of humour; even if it bites a bit more than it can chew. Rated: 3/5 Jun 22, 2020 Full Review Josiah Teal Film Threat A solid horror film that had me watching parts through slightly covered eyes. Rated: 8.5/10 Jun 16, 2020 Full Review Rich Cline Shadows on the Wall ...as things get increasingly gruesome, climaxing in a cultish ceremony, the choppy editing makes it impossible to remain engaged. Rated: 2/5 Jun 11, 2020 Full Review Niall Browne Movies in Focus Director Miles Doleac's deliciously gory The Dinner Party gets a few things right, but ultimately this horror/thriller fails to serve-up the requisite amount of tension to deliver the goods. Heather S This was perhaps the worst movie I've ever seen. I don't understand why it has such a high user rating unless they bought some positive reviews. I wish I could get back the time I spent watching it. My recommendation is hard pass. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 06/26/24 Full Review Audience Member Idk how to describe it but this movie felt as if it was trying to hard to be ominous and occult . The husband was also terrible at acting 2.0 Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/01/23 Full Review Audience Member A slow build-up that takes too long to develop and the end almost justifies those means but not quite. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review marc m It was a strange movie. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Not the worst film I've watched. It reminded me of the later Hammer Horror films, but with a lot more gore and body parts flapping about, not all of them dead. A bit slow to build up, somewhat salacious, but for some reason, it grew on me. The acting wasn't too shoddy either. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Audience Member This is literally the worst movie I have ever seen. I don't know what is going on with those rating this 4/5 stars... Have y'all seen *any* other movie? Overacted, obnoxious, and extreeeeemely try-hard. Feel like I'm owed a settlement after watching that.
