Synopsis
Film star Richard Todd celebrates the first 25 years of one of Great Britain's most iconic film studios, Associated British Elstree. The film includes scenes from over 40 films made by the studio between 1927 and 1952, including their first feature, "The White Sheik," and the first sound picture made in Great Britain, Alfred Hitchcock's classic "Blackmail." Behind-the-scenes footage explains how films are made, from screenwriting and casting to editing and distribution.
