Super Dave Osborne (Bob Einstein) wanted to ring in the New Year with a daredevil stunt, but instead he crashed and burned. Tired and broke, he decides to retire and train younger stuntmen. He takes DJ (Steve Van Wormer) under his wing, but the young man is actually a spy for a rival promoter (Dan Hedaya). Super Dave also falls in love with Sandy (Gia Carides), and, when her son needs surgery after a stunt gone awry, Super Dave tries to raise the money by pulling off one last stunt.

Audience Member Worst Comedy I've ever seen! I love juvenile but this truly sucked! I now feel dumber having watched it. May God have mercy on their souls for making it. I award it One Star because I couldn't give it any less. A root canal would have been better use of my time.
