David Nusair Reel Film Reviews ...nothing can quite prepare us for a sequence late in the film that finds Robert Wagner engaged in a fist-fight with a mummy. john p The idea of the Watchers from the Book of Enoch, the Nephilim in Genesis 6 is rife with possibilities for an excellent movie that would make a superb flick that would kick Raiders of the Lost Ark and The Mummy's dusty butts. However great the intention, Kevin VanHook's story, he wrote, produced and directed was -- well, a near-miss. I realize, that budget constraints were in effect here but when the Bible referred to the damned progeny of fallen angels and human women being giants -- the idea that they were 50 feet tall grabbing helicopters is ludicrous. This movie had so much great material to work with but VanHook's valiant efforts just fell face-first into a C- movie with poor acting as well. Even the jokes like Indy Jones would make seemed really forced like Saturday Morning cartoon adventure script. Oh well nice try. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Crappy of the crappiest movies ever! Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Audience Member As seen on Telefutura, this was clearly a mindless TV-movie w/ high disregard for historical facts & displays a small variety of mummy monsters. At least watch the scenes that show any giants. You're likelier to chuckle than be awe-struck. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Ok, not a great movie, but a fun movie and it does have a cool cast. Robert Wagner, Geoffrey Lewis, Tom Bosley (as an awesome Jewish rabbi no less!), and Casper Van Dien. I like watching all of them act and for some reason, I'm a big fan of Van Dien's movies. He's made a career out of repeating his character from Starship Troopers (which, come on, was a kick ass movie) but somehow it doesn't get stale.
