In "The Family Plan 2," it's the holiday season and Dan (Mark Wahlberg) has planned the perfect vacation for his wife Jessica (Michelle Monaghan) and their kids to celebrate overseas -- until a mysterious figure from his past (Kit Harington) shows up with unfinished business. An international game of cat-and-mouse ensues as Dan and his family battle, bicker and bond their way through a series of bank heists, holiday hijinks and car chases amid scenic European terrain.

The setpieces are sloppy and unexciting to the extreme, and most of them, like a low-energy fight aboard a double-decker bus, are shapeless to the point that they simply end instead of building to a climactic beat.

Worst movie I have seen in a long time. Predictable, poor plot (no twists), flat humor, and sexist. I think they were trying to empower the wife with a job promotion and helping fight bad guys some, but poor attempt when she had lines like "Dan told me I was in charge while he was gone." An adult mother of 3 does not need her husband to give her permission to save her family.

A decent enough plot line, destroyed completely by low-brow "gags" which fall completely flat. A healthy amount of DEI. Really lazy writing with no creative value whatsoever. It’s as if everyone involved in this project was just checking a box to get a paycheck…

I couldn't enjoy the movie because of the blatant disregard for cultural facts. It’s 2026, and yet we still see Hollywood movies crediting Russia with Ukrainian traditions like borscht. It is tone-deaf and offensive. While Russia is committing a genocide and destroying Ukrainian cities daily, seeing their culture 'borrowed' and handed to the invaders on screen feels like a slap in the face to every victim of this war. Hollywood’s ignorance isn’t just 'entertainment' anymore; it’s an endorsement of the aggressor’s lies.

Undoubtedly one of worst movies I’ve watched then again it falls into line with pretty much everything since 2015. Hollywood has failed. Think I’ll turn to the far east to see if things are any better. I do not mind reading sub titles to avoid this rubbish.
