The promising premise loses momentum quickly, thanks to stiff performances and subpar digital effects. The Flood is only tolerable with beers, friends, and low expectations. Go to Full Review

It’s not dull, you won’t dare doze, and there’s something to be said about a cast of bloodthirsty carnivores in the middle of an actor’s strike. Go to Full Review

The staging, by director Brandon Slagle, is basic in a competent potboiler way, and the cast is pretty good. Go to Full Review

When it comes to Brandon Slagle films, be prepared to be thrown into the wild. Immediately. There’s no slow burn to endure with The Flood as we are delightfully chucked into a terrible Louisiana storm with limited escape. Go to Full Review

Michael Kors would say the surefire way to make something look [__] is to make it short, shiny, and sleeveless. This movie is the equivalent of that. Go to Full Review

Hollywood J Oct 8 This reference Gremlins and get bonus points for that . A Female Sheriff and lead character bonus points . Room full with nasty Gators and they're hungry . The strangest team up ever or strangest alliance ever put together. Outside a very nasty rainfall from a hurricane. All equals one great movie . Only downfall is bad CGI for the Gators, but it's not a big distraction . When everything else is great . See more Kyle O 11/30/2024 I gave an extra star cause I have a thing for blondes. The CGI for the alligators looks like a early 2000’s movie The acting is average but when you’ve clicked on a movie that has convicts and alligators do you really care? The plot is a good base for a great movie, it just isn't. See more Mandy E 07/28/2024 As far as a Jaws style monster movie, it’s very cliche and there’s not a single surprise the whole movie. It’s all been done a thousand times before. However the worst part for me is the mixing of alligators and crocodiles, using them interchangeably. It’s based in Louisiana where the largest population of alligators is in the world and no one could get footage of them? They had to used stock videos of Nile crocs (in Africa) and bad CGI that move more like dogs than any reptile. How many people approved of this before it was made? Not a single one of them could use google to see what an alligator looks like? See more Koi P @hopep 05/22/2024 It is what is expected. Not a horrible movie, but I didn't find it an enjoyable watch. The crocodiles are the stars. See more Ryan B 05/12/2024 Many laugh out loud moments, too bad it's not ment to be a comedy. See more Neal B 05/04/2024 By the end, I was rooting for the alligators.
