Sean P. Means Film.com I like Disney-style adolescent adventures and I like The Sopranos, but, unlike peanut butter and chocolate, these are not two great tastes that taste great together. Rated: 2/4 Sep 26, 2008 Full Review Tim Cogshell Boxoffice Magazine One of the best action movies you and your kids could see this summer. At least look for it on video. Rated: 3/5 Aug 29, 2008 Full Review Andrew L. Urban Urban Cinefile Don't be fooled by the Kids in the title, this is one terrific action drama, with a few comedic grace notes Mar 21, 2009 Full Review Robert W. Butler Kansas City Star It's like two stories unfolding in parallel universes. Rated: 2.5/4 Oct 3, 2008 Full Review Jeff Vice Deseret News (Salt Lake City) At times it's a rather light-hearted family adventure. But parts of it also become a mean-spirited crime thriller. That light-dark contrast doesn't quite work. Rated: 2/4 Sep 12, 2008 Full Review Bruce Bennett Spectrum (St. George, Utah) One of the summer's nicest surprises..a mostly family-friendly adventure that doesn't rely on superheroes or science fiction to get your pulse racing... Leandro T Great movie for the fam! Totally good story and totally worth watchinh Rated 4 out of 5 stars 10/21/24 Full Review Sultan Paul Joseph B I was self appointed foster boy at 13 years of age, (I ran away from home) my last year in school was a joke signing in the office late and walked out 180 days of school flushed. The 1st year of integration (bussing) fighting occurred daily and mostly in the lunch line. Dad imprisoned, mom two jobs to feed 5, I lightened the load and left. Moved in with my dad’s old friends and they treated me like gold! I relate with the Baldwin brothers and this entire movie as many of my after MFA days friends are in it. Thumbs up for me and give it a 4finger 1thumb 5 STAR rating I’d like to purchase a copy of it-So…? Ivins 5th ward 84738 Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 08/05/24 Full Review S R A surprisingly good movie. Was it great? No. But, it still kept me somewhat interested despite the weak plot and unbelievable situations. I saw it since it showcased St George and the surrounding area. They claimed it was AZ, but they shouldn't have. RUS.
