Michael O'Sullivan Washington Post Even after watching the movie, I have no idea how scared I should be. Rated: 2/4 Apr 9, 2015 Full Review Nicolas Rapold New York Times "The Forecaster" has the distinct hermetic feel of a documentary that employs an echo chamber of people too close to the material. Apr 2, 2015 Full Review Michael Rechtshaffen Los Angeles Times "The Forecaster," a documentary study of the rise and fall of commodities advisor Martin Armstrong, would have paid greater dividends by taking a more impartial approach to its subject. Audience Member Excellent documentary on what big money will do to get your code IF it works to predict the future. If it does NOT work, then they don't want it. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Audience Member One side of the story never makes for great documentary story telling, but "the cast" certainly appears credible and the story itself, if true is chilling. I plan on doing a bit more research on my own and reserve the right to change the rating on this review based on that. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Audience Member Sad but unfortunately true story of corruption at the highest (and lowest) levels. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/15/23 Full Review Audience Member Great documentary...seems to go along with what we already know about our so called democracy. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review markus m Not quite sure how to feel about this one. I mean it's a competently put together and interesting film, but as a documentary I'm not sure how much of it I should actually buy. It does highlight some problems with the American justice system during its second half, but the film doesn't exactly come off as impartial, and there are moments in it that come off as warning signs to take what you're being told with a grain of salt. It is still a genuinely fascinating watch though, whether you believe in what you're being told or not. 7/10 Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Funny how the 3 "Rotten" reviews here are part of the mainstream media establishment while the lone "Fresh" is from the Village Voice. At the risk of being called a conspiratorialist, I'd say...hmmmmmm. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/15/23 Full Review Read all reviews
