Audience Member Pretty good. Breezy and amusing - moreso than his later films, Milestone really knew how to hold the whole picture together. It's a shame that he lost that knack. This is pretty simple fare, but told well, I think, and reasonably well acted. Milestone's direction is fairly straightforward and workmanlike, but for this type of film that's all you really need. A pleasant enough viewing. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Audience Member Cute....adorable....only the 2nd silent film I have watched.... Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member There are some great shots here, as well as a scene in which a character unwittingly plays the prepared piano before John Cage made it famous.
