With far too much focus on form and feeling rather than a coherent story and character depth, the filmmaker diminishes what the meaning of cinema is all about. And opts instead for the silent imagery and still gaze more suited to the medium of fine art.

I loved this movie! Deeply moving story about the passion of youth, the lasting connection between destiny and earthly time. I put this third in my favorite movies this year: The Grand Budipest Hotel, Birdman and The Girl and Death. If this had a Julia Roberts American star, this movie would be getting a lot more attention. That said, timelessness is poetic only in the hearts of lovers. Aliens, zombies, robots and horror geeks won't find a moment to grab here--athough it is a story locked in the ghosts of a lost path, which still has earthly intrigue to those who know its truths. The actors in this piece are all perfection.
