Amazingly, despite all the bombast, and due mainly to some inspired casting along with a few choice lines of sassy dialogue, it also has a light step that occasionally delivers one or two warm emotional moments.

The Gray Man may feel 15 minutes too long, but there is still much to enjoy. Chris Evans is having a ball, Ryan Gosling cements his reputation as an action star in waiting, while Ana de Armas matches her co-stars in the arse kicking stakes.

This movie was full of action and explosions/violence! It kept us on the edge of our seats because there was a serious plot involved! I must say the amount of a major player getting his butt kicked & STILL able to keep going was well...A MOVIE & ENTERTAINING This was a night we did NOT want serious OR, to make sense COMPLETELY. We did enjoy the ACTION & OUTRAGEOUS explosions/crashes etc. We were NOT bored OR, grossed out in any way. We would recommend this movie to those who enjoy action/adventure & VIOLENCE. Again, it IS NOT gory though!

I don't know if I am more angry that it is a horrendous book adaptation or that it was a phenomenal action movie. I thoroughly enjoyed watching it and was completely entertained. However I was also seething the entire time thinking about why they can't just use the source material that is excellent instead of just borrowing some names from it.
