For myself, star performances and expensive grand sets are two non-negotiable ingredients of a blockbuster. The Russo brothers’ newest film has both. (And maybe it’s just a two-ingredient genre film, but that’s perfectly fine with me).

This movie was full of action and explosions/violence! It kept us on the edge of our seats because there was a serious plot involved! I must say the amount of a major player getting his butt kicked & STILL able to keep going was well...A MOVIE & ENTERTAINING This was a night we did NOT want serious OR, to make sense COMPLETELY. We did enjoy the ACTION & OUTRAGEOUS explosions/crashes etc. We were NOT bored OR, grossed out in any way. We would recommend this movie to those who enjoy action/adventure & VIOLENCE. Again, it IS NOT gory though!

I don't know if I am more angry that it is a horrendous book adaptation or that it was a phenomenal action movie. I thoroughly enjoyed watching it and was completely entertained. However I was also seething the entire time thinking about why they can't just use the source material that is excellent instead of just borrowing some names from it.
