Annie S I thoroughly enjoyed this. Timothy Spall is a marvellous actor and shone in his role. James Nesbitt also really got his teeth into his part. But, although poverty was intimated, the family had clothes on the radiator despite them wearing coats indoors indicating it was cold. And the mother had an up-to-date mobile phone and the TV was on. Just a small niggle. Would definitely recommend as a heartwarming Christmas film. Set in a poor Irish town...it is full of all the right ingredients to be a good movie actors sound true, made my flight from Barcelona to Montreal more enjoyable.
