Audience Member this movie is messed up just the way i like it. if you like Brad Dourif as much as i do then you probably need to watch it. if you don't but like movies abt insane ppl then you will like this film. it rocks. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Audience Member A hard-to-find film but it's definitely worth watching, for some really great performances by Brad Dourif, Sammi Davis, and Michael Harris (also Vic Tayback and Max Perlich, another favorite). The Kurt Voss neo-noir, LA minimalist film totally captures the seedier side of art in LA in the late '80s/early 90s. Everything is understated, but very subtle and nuanced. BONUS: the Pixies provide a few great songs from Doolittle on the soundtrack! Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member Years ago I asked Brad Dourif's daughter if HORSEPLAYER would be out on DVD because I loved it. She was surprised that anyone had heard of it, let alone liked it. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Read all reviews
