"The Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild" continues the hilarious escapades of the sub-zero heroes as they create more prehistoric pandemonium. Eager for a little independence, the thrill-seeking possum brothers Crash and Eddie set out to find a place of their own but soon find themselves trapped beneath the ice in a massive cave inhabited by dinosaurs. They are rescued by the one-eyed, adventure-loving weasel Buck Wild, and together, with the help of some new friends, embark on a mission to save the Lost World from dinosaur domination.

Not a bad film, However considering it was called Adventures of Buck Wild... I feel as if this is bucks own movie, which it isnt as hes a side-main-character, saddly... But the plot got me even more confused and Buck wild was done Dirty like the Sandy cheeks Movie... But it is still worth watching if you want to see the evolution of Crash and Eddies Character...

Crash and Eddie, with a desire to become their own possums, run away and join Buck in the Lost World. The animation for this film was not done by Blue Sky Studios as the previous films in this franchise were. Disney (now the owners of Ice Age Franchise through the Fox merger) outsource the animation to Bardel Entertainment in Vancouver. While the animation isn’t terrible, there are moments that the original animators are missed. Simon Pegg, who voices Buck, is the only returning voice actor and his work is appreciated. The rest of the voice cast does their best impressions of the original voice cast, but they do not always hit the mark. The title is misleading, as Buck Wild is not the main protagonist, instead Crash and Eddie are. The villain is a “throw away” villain with typical “rule the world” syndrome and explained through exposition. This film got a few chuckles out of me, but most of the jokes were for a younger demographic, or didn’t land. If you enjoy the Ice Age Franchise, maybe check this out to see if you like where Disney might take the franchise.

Synopsis
