Norman Gidney Film Threat The Incantation summons little more than Dean Cain chewing the scenery, Walko acting mysterious, and Valentine using every opportunity to make us hope she finds her end or learns a lesson. Rated: 4/10 Jan 10, 2019 Full Review Read all reviews

nick s The young lead put in a good performance. Some of the other acting left a lot to be desired (yes I'm looking at you Mr Director). The movie felt like it was made by an inexperienced team who had just acquired access to a cool villa. The story fell back on the usual tropes of the genre and didn't really offer anything new or memorable. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/07/24 Full Review Audience Member This movie on the surface seems like a simple fairy tale, but for those who pay attention the tagline "Do Not Deny Your True Nature" is very telling. It is obvious that the protagonist journey is one of her thinking her life should be one way, fighting to make it another way, only to ultimately give in to her true nature all along. The French countryside is so beautiful and in a word I found the film enchanting. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Audience Member I like the story. Classic horror setup. Acting is a little choppy but I still enjoyed it. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member I love that this movie exists, so beautiful and such a great job of storytelling. I want to live in this castle!!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/08/23 Full Review Audience Member A throwback to the films I grew up on, The Incantation is like a love letter to the Hammer Films of old; complete with creepy castle. Atmospheric, eerie and immersed in black magic lore, this is a perfect twisted fairytale to kick off the Halloween Season. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Audience Member Don't waist your time ! Acting sucks ! Half a ?? for Dean Cain even though they made him Suck in this thing too !
