Audience Member Carl Jackson's The Jesus Freak is a 2017 drama on faith, balancing love and good fortune and questioning the power of a troubled marriage. It unfortunately moves at the speed of molasses and never engages one for that matter. As a result, it ends up becoming rather repetitive and falling victim to what other Dallas, TX indie films often become: dull, uninspired and lacking in a decent pace to retain one's attention span. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Audience Member Why does Jesus need souls in this movie? Why do they have the main character be the same old overly religious stereotype? And of all places to find souls, why Las Vegas? Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Read all reviews
