Audience Member This film makes use of a real hero to tell a story about the way people make such a big deal out of those who are different. The star of the film is played by the actual kid who has no legs. He does an amazing job. However, the film is a little dated and it has some awkward moments in it that slows the progression of the story, in my opinion. It's a great exploration into the life of a child who has the challenge of living with no legs. Just don't expect Hollywood or Disney type story. But expect to be moved. First, its a heart-wrenching of a boy who has had to sacrifice his own legs for the sake of his bone deficiency. Second, it's about how the media both disrupts and creates reality.
