This isn't rosy viewing. But believing that, as residents of the planet, we should take serious note of the extinction crisis, Brooks lays out the facts and makes clear the urgency. This film deserves attention.

The Last Animals is a wakeup call. Not just about the parlous state of many species of rhinos or indeed elephants, but all animals. Brooks heralds the heroes.

The Last Animals doesn't offer solutions to the poaching problem so much as an outline of just how serious it is. But by reminding us throughout that human beings can transcend their worst impulses, it offers hope.

Great film but I cannot agree with the part of the film where they cut the horn of the Rhino and the documentary girl did not do anything about it.. are these two people really helping?! They just killed a rhino in the part of the documentary. Leave them Alone. Those who say they feel that theyre doing good by keeping them captivated but they remove the horn are just as bad as the poachers themselves.
