Lewis W If you are interested in time travel or dimensional alternative realities and the penalties this is the Movie for you. The direction, effects, and Acting... halfway in I didn't have to view the subtitles. A well produced and edited movie that the cast presents and works show. Well made and EXCELLENT performance. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/26/24 Full Review isla s This is a silly but amusing film - one not to take too seriously, its comedy and sci-fi based. The main character is quite geeky but in a likeable way. It has a touch of the Back to the Future's about it - mostly the 2nd film, if any, I suppose as it highlights the potential unintended consequences of meddling. I wouldn't say this is entirely a time travel film but if you like those then you may well like this too - its primarily a goofy comedy I reckon, certainly at the start, although things get a bit more serious after the first 45 minutes or so. Its certainly worth a watch if it sounds of interest, I'd say. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member O filme realmente prova que o amor existe! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Does it have plotholes? Glaringly. But it delivers so much fresh entertainment for Brazilian cinema that I was fully able to keep my suspension of disbelief throughout this. It's a delightful comedy-drama-scifi movie that delivers some fresh scenery from what we're used to around here. Wagner Moura unsurprisingly KILLS it in all the iterations of his character (particularly Young João), the soundtrack was very well thought out, and it's just oozing with charm. Definitely worth a watch! Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/26/23 Full Review Audience Member Esse filme é tão singelo. Uma versão brasileira, e honesta de Efeito borboleta! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member It is quite clumsy in the beginning, with a clichéd cinematography and lame dialogue, but soon it surprises us by becoming a funny, touching and well-constructed film with smart twists, great performances and an excellent soundtrack in a story full of heart.
