Audience Member Lands a few good punches but other than Peter Mullan it's a little too weak. I must say Michelle Ryan looks a knockout as a goth, though. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Audience Member A bit overacted and some questionable storytelling. Could be better if they knew how to speak English clearly because I couldn't understand some of what was being said. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member jeez fuckin' boring :( --- i should have thought abt it when i entered the cinema & found just 2 people in the whole theatre --- even they went out after 40 mins & i was watching alone lol --- i deserve some award for my patience he he Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Derek Malcolm London Evening Standard The Man Inside is well made but pushes us towards a kind of hyper-realism that pays decreasing dividends. Rated: 3/5 Jul 27, 2012 Full Review Donald Clarke Irish Times We would say something about "first-round knockout", but then it's not really a boxing picture. So, we won't. Rated: 1/5 Jul 27, 2012 Full Review Peter Bradshaw Guardian This is intelligent and ambitious work. Rated: 3/5 Jul 26, 2012 Full Review Joseph Walsh CineVue A gritty urban thriller which, whilst packing a punch, misses its target once too often. Rated: 2/5 Aug 23, 2018 Full Review David Aldridge Radio Times It's so mired in overwrought melodrama that, while it packs a few punches, it fails to deliver the knockout. Rated: 2/5 Jul 27, 2012 Full Review Allan Hunter Daily Express (UK) Peter Mullan adds gruff authority and class but there is not much else to commend this effort from writer/director/producer Dan Turner.
