Liana Rojas, a creatively starved stylist assistant, discovers that the historical downtown Los Angeles factory building where her fashion designer sister mysteriously died is haunted by a serial killer posing as a headshot photographer for film studios who brutally murdered and dismembered his victims half a century earlier. This knowledge forces Liana and her friends to find a way to free themselves from the curse and escape the sinister ghost before they lose their own body parts. Creepy, clever, and surprisingly good! The Mannequin is one of those indie horror films that reminds you why you love discovering new voices in the genre. Isabella Gomez delivers a captivating performance as does the rest of the outstanding cast while writer/director John Berardo delivers a clever and entertaining story. The Mannequin is incredible — stylish, moody, and full of tension.

This is so lame. Not at all scary. Fell asleep in several parts. Stupid story that makes no sense at all. Women get killed then they haunt a warehouse and kill more women. Such a dumb lazy example of bad writing.
