Other than some songs in the movie this was an awful movie, empty B movie, main characters disagree on a fundamental level, there's no substance in any character, and cringy at times. Story could have been conveyed better.

Wonderful escapism in beautiful landscapes that all should strive to see. Live a little people. Bilbao and Matera! Wow brilliant cinematography. Even went to Cadeques. Well casted and although a little predictable, it was fun and sweet and worth the 90 minutes of your life.

It’s a story that’s been told a thousand times before but still felt fresh. KJ Apa brought so much humour to the role and the leads had really great chemistry. The storyline is predictable but was a great watch. Thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend for something easy.

"The Map That Leads to You" is somewhat of a comfort food kind of movie when it comes to sappy romances. The movie has clear inspirations from a variety of existing movies, and it is very clear when watching it as someone who is fairly familiar with the tropes. Still, I think the two leads are likable enough and the movie is too sweet to be too harsh on. The pacing is not that solid, but the scenery and vibe are always nice to look at, and the last act of the movie is genuinely the most engaging bit of it. Overall, the movie mostly loses points for originality, but I still think it is a sweet and heartfelt way to pass the time if you need a romance fix.
