Randy Myers San Jose Mercury News There’s just no sizzle here. Rated: 2/4 Sep 3, 2025 Full Review John Anderson Wall Street Journal Mr. Hallström, who has made some emotionally satisfying and even delicate movies, doesn’t really have the material here that he had in his other films. His cast is pretty; the Sagrada Familia is more eloquent. Aug 22, 2025 Full Review Chris Azzopardi New York Times It’s all as comfortably mindless as you’d expect. Aug 21, 2025 Full Review Keith Garlington Keith & the Movies The final act throws in one of those annoying yet chronic movie conflicts that could be solved with just a little communication. It sets up the story’s predictable finish that leaves an unfortunate Nicholas Sparks aftertaste. Rated: 2/5 Sep 3, 2025 Full Review Tatat Bunnag Bangkok Post For me, The Map That Leads To You is watchable, but forgettable. It's the kind of film you might enjoy once for its glossy visuals and picturesque settings, but it doesn't linger in the mind afterwards. Sep 2, 2025 Full Review Rohan Naahar The Indian Express The Map that Leads to You ends exactly how you imagine it would. It all makes very little sense, and the pathos feels unearned. But if momentary catharsis is what you’re after, it might be just the fix you need. Sep 1, 2025 Full Review Read all reviews

Lee N Other than some songs in the movie this was an awful movie, empty B movie, main characters disagree on a fundamental level, there's no substance in any character, and cringy at times. Story could have been conveyed better. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 09/07/25 Full Review Andre K I loved it gentle story about figuring out your furture, heart felt, characters with the story is good emotional pace. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 09/04/25 Full Review Tony W Wonderful escapism in beautiful landscapes that all should strive to see. Live a little people. Bilbao and Matera! Wow brilliant cinematography. Even went to Cadeques. Well casted and although a little predictable, it was fun and sweet and worth the 90 minutes of your life. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 09/03/25 Full Review Anja K Amazing movie! It changed my perspective on life. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/01/25 Full Review Lauren O It’s a story that’s been told a thousand times before but still felt fresh. KJ Apa brought so much humour to the role and the leads had really great chemistry. The storyline is predictable but was a great watch. Thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend for something easy. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 08/31/25 Full Review Yash B "The Map That Leads to You" is somewhat of a comfort food kind of movie when it comes to sappy romances. The movie has clear inspirations from a variety of existing movies, and it is very clear when watching it as someone who is fairly familiar with the tropes. Still, I think the two leads are likable enough and the movie is too sweet to be too harsh on. The pacing is not that solid, but the scenery and vibe are always nice to look at, and the last act of the movie is genuinely the most engaging bit of it. Overall, the movie mostly loses points for originality, but I still think it is a sweet and heartfelt way to pass the time if you need a romance fix.
