Mr. Hallström, who has made some emotionally satisfying and even delicate movies, doesn’t really have the material here that he had in his other films. His cast is pretty; the Sagrada Familia is more eloquent. Go to Full Review

It’s all as comfortably mindless as you’d expect. Go to Full Review

Up to its truly stupid ending, Map is enjoyable as a bubbleheaded travelogue through various sun-kissed summer spots of the continent. Go to Full Review

The final act throws in one of those annoying yet chronic movie conflicts that could be solved with just a little communication. It sets up the story’s predictable finish that leaves an unfortunate Nicholas Sparks aftertaste. Go to Full Review

For me, The Map That Leads To You is watchable, but forgettable. It's the kind of film you might enjoy once for its glossy visuals and picturesque settings, but it doesn't linger in the mind afterwards. Go to Full Review

Елена Б @Miss_Hound 12h It is definitely a film I will rewatch one evening with a glass of wine. It won’t make it into my all-time favorites, but it has a very pleasant, comforting vibe. The visuals are absolutely beautiful — the film made me want to visit Europe. The atmosphere feels warm and romantic without being overwhelming. I especially appreciated that the filmmakers managed to show love without constant passionate kissing scenes or explicit content. Sometimes I simply get tired of that kind of overexposure. As an English teacher, I will definitely use this film in my lessons. The dialogues are quite natural, and although the plot is somewhat predictable, it is still well-structured and easy to follow. I also enjoy films that include elements of culture — writers, books, interesting places. I usually end up googling the references afterward, which turns the experience into a kind of edutainment. Overall, it’s not a masterpiece, but it’s a beautiful, gentle story worth watching. See more Susan M. @suziekeys 14h Watched it on my flight home. Just okay. Amazing scenery though. See more Travis B @travisjburch Feb 6 When it comes to films, it takes a lot for me to shed tears, but this masterpiece had me weeping. Not only was the cinematography gorgeous, but the acting was beautiful, portraying a story that I felt beyond connected with in multiple facets -- love, friendships, travel, loss, the universe, and so much more. It made me question what I am doing with my own life, what my purpose is, but most importantly, if I am living my life completely free of distraction -- am I really seeing and reveling in the beauty and nature that surrounds me? Honestly a masterpiece that I believe deserves copious amounts of praise. See more Dara B. @Adarable Feb 6 Inspiring. The acting was okay. Not my favorite genre necessarily, but this was fine. The main girl is good. The "twist" is strong enough to make it interesting. See more Read all reviews
