Rated 5/5 Stars •  Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/18/25 Full Review Ramadhan W at first everything still great. i love learning other culture mythology and this is really interesting on those aspect. idont get the mockumentary direction choice because they dont commit fully into it, unlike film like "noroi" and "incantation". while the story progress, the character becomes dumber and dumber, especially the team of documenter itself, there are so many illogical action in the film for the sake of the horror. i think they could do a better job if they fully commit to being a mockumentary instead of going half and half. I enjoyed the format as it captured the atmosphere of this remote location and the community living there. The acting was excellent in my opinion, especially Mint. Gurlie was freakin' creepy! I always enjoy the plot twists and revelations in Thai horror movies in general so the layer upon layer of reveals which accumulated to the chaotic finale was chefs kiss, in my humble opinion. Did I like the ending though? Not really but, it gave me the exact feeling I want horror movies to give me: despair and fear. I do not plan on re-watching this movie any time soon because of how disturbing it was for me. But, I do highly recommend it!
