When struggling photographer Leon Kaufman (Bradley Cooper) meets the owner of a prominent art gallery, he sees a chance for the success that has, so far, eluded him. The Midnight Meat Train is a well-shot horror/action film that benefits from a compelling narrative and strong performances from its lead cast. Unfortunately, the final third of the film definitely holds it back for me. There's some lazy writing here and the ending will be a hit-or-miss for most viewers. That said, I still enjoyed this one overall.
