Dennis Harvey Variety The sum impact is like a joke with a promising-enough setup but no punchline. Dec 28, 2024 Full Review Phil Hoad Guardian The Mouse Trap is so dispiritingly slapdash that Walt needn’t bother rolling over in his grave; should we be shocked that an era of cynical corporate film-making begets cynicism? Rated: 1/5 Sep 26, 2024 Full Review John Serba Decider Mouse crap! Oct 10, 2024 Full Review Jeffrey M. Anderson Common Sense Media An atrocious, unbearably awful slasher movie and a thoughtless cash grab involving beloved characters that have entered the public domain, this absolute waste of time and effort should be avoided. Rated: 1/5 Sep 6, 2024 Full Review Jonita Davis The Black Cape (Medium) 'Mouse Trap' is meant to resemble those films only enough to entertain in the moment. This means seeing things like a sudden teleportation power as the silly camp feature it’s supposed to be. Aug 15, 2024 Full Review Josh Bell Crooked Marquee A rote, plodding slasher movie that has essentially nothing to do with Steamboat Willie. Rated: D Aug 6, 2024 Full Review Read all reviews

Kyle G I tried.... but... damn this movie sucks. Lol Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/20/25 Full Review Audience Member I went into this movie knowing it would be terrible but I had to check it out. It blew my expectations on how bad a movie truly could be. I am almost impressed, it was so bad, it was almost good. With an $800,000 budget, 80 minute run time, and a list of unknown actors, it’s no surprise this movie was awful. The acting was terrible, the plot was poorly written, and the camera work was strange. Also the horror aspect looked and felt very fake and over dramatic. This felt more like a school play than a movie and the movie didn’t really go anywhere. The only reason this gets half a star is because of the Mickey Mouse aspect. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/16/25 Full Review Jayden V This movie is worse than the first blood and honey movie Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/06/25 Full Review Zy S Bad movie. The film had a unique element of "cat and mouse", with some rules that actually balanced the power dynamics of the slasher and the victims. The main weakness of this movie was the climax was lackluster and the ending was just atrocious. The acting was decent, the plot was decent, the mechanics of this particular slasher were decent, but the movie was unable to actually build real moments of entertainment and then just kills off the main character and ends abruptly. Movie needs another 25 minutes worth of screenwriting and more buildup for a real climax. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/05/25 Full Review Laniece L I would never recommend this to anyone not even a blind person. My friends and I could make a better movie in 30 minutes Jamie Bailey needs to never make a movie again this is shameful and a disgrace to Mickey Mouse’s name.
