Phil Hoad Guardian The Mouse Trap is so dispiritingly slapdash that Walt needn’t bother rolling over in his grave; should we be shocked that an era of cynical corporate film-making begets cynicism? Rated: 1/5 Sep 26, 2024 Full Review John Serba Decider Mouse crap! Oct 10, 2024 Full Review Jeffrey M. Anderson Common Sense Media An atrocious, unbearably awful slasher movie and a thoughtless cash grab involving beloved characters that have entered the public domain, this absolute waste of time and effort should be avoided. Rated: 1/5 Sep 6, 2024 Full Review Jonita Davis The Black Cape (Medium) 'Mouse Trap' is meant to resemble those films only enough to entertain in the moment. This means seeing things like a sudden teleportation power as the silly camp feature it’s supposed to be. Aug 15, 2024 Full Review Josh Bell Crooked Marquee A rote, plodding slasher movie that has essentially nothing to do with Steamboat Willie. Rated: D Aug 6, 2024 Full Review Brian Orndorf Blu-ray.com It’s “Blood and Honey” all over again, with limited effort put into the final production, which is caught between becoming one big goof and one colossal bore. “The Mouse Trap” merely exists to collect a quick buck from the curious. Chris P I didn't dislike this as much as most but there will be no second viewing. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 11/16/24 Full Review Timber W Gods this movie was terrible. It had a few funny moments but overall just disjointed and looked like it was rushed to make just to say it was done first. The kills were unimaginative, and just... wow. I love bad movies but this one almost ruined that for me Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 11/12/24 Full Review Julio C Asco, ni se merece reseña, solo es un asco Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 11/12/24 Full Review Cristian s Lo mas rancio de lo rancio, si vas a hacer una película de terror solo porque podes usar a Mickey Mouse y ser el primero por lo menos trata de ponerle voluntad. ¿Historia? ¿Sentido? ¿Buenos chistes? ¿Gente actuando que parezca tener ganas de estar ahí? ¿Alguna escena épica de violencia? ¿Gore? ¿Al menos un villano carismático? Naaah para que, no hace falta. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 11/09/24 Full Review RJ J Let me preface this by saying I love really bad horror movies. I enjoyed Winnie the Pooh blood and honey, not because it was good, but because it was fun and painstakingly bad. This movie was just bad. The guy who plays Steamboat Willie is great and I love the voice they gave him. The plot is just all sorts of scuffed though. I'm not sure of the timeline of events and there are some glaring plot holes I think happened because they either ran out of budget or the movie was getting too long. The ending was the biggest let down I've ever experienced in a horror movie aside from Malignant. Watch in the background and laugh at how bad this movie is, other than that, I cannot recommend this at all. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 11/06/24 Full Review Dylan H I’d rather watch blue clues for an hour and a half than watch this crap. 30 minutes into a HORROR movie… and no kill scene. And then mickey is hitting people in the head with a hockey stick instead of killing them like a HORROR MOVIE. Lore… SUCKS, plot… SUCKS, overall… SUCKS. I’d rather watch an entire tree grow than ever watch this again. Just wasted my time Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 11/04/24 Full Review Read all reviews
